My approach is based on the appreciation of each patient as an individual whose state of well being is immediately affected by his or her lifestyle, which includes diet, habits, emotions and environment. Thus, each person’s health needs will differ from that of another. From the moment you enter my office my mission is to support you in achieving a balanced state of health and well being.

How does Acupuncture fit with my Western medical care?

Traditional Chinese Medicine is not a substitute for western medicine. They are complementary systems. Experience shows that many acute, chronic, hard-to-treat illnesses respond better to Chinese medicine. The same effective treatments are used to bring relief to sportsmen, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts who have acute or chronic paine, or to improve their performance.

Although Chinese medicine can treat most conditions, there are circumstances that can be delt with more effectively by Western medicine. In such cases, it will be recommended you contact your Western medical doctor.
